Jalisco Mexican Restaurant - Eugene: Authentic Mexican Cuisine in the Heart of Eugene

This is my favorite restaurant in eugene. The food is delicious and consistent. I've been going to jaliscos regularly for over a year and have never had a bad meal. The chips and salsa are also very very good and consistent. I love the staff as well. They are all so nice, friendly, and fun!

When the salsa is the same color as mole sauce, you know you're in for an authentic experience. My wife and I stopped by here while we were roadtripping between Washington and California. We both agreed we would love to move to Eugene just to eat here more often!

It'd been awhile since eating here. Stopped in to grab lunch and was more than happy we did. The service was very fast and super friendly. Our food was really good and also arrived quite fast. We enjoyed some drinks with our meal. Multiple TV's played various sports like drag racing and tennis. Restaurant and restroom was clean.

This is a great restaurant. The prices are a little steep, it's around $20 per plate of food. The food I got was good, the tortilla chips are house made and very delicious. You get the obligatory chips and salsa when you arrive, and the salsa is yummy: it's just the right amount of spice and tons of flavor. I had a margarita, which was $12. Their well margaritas are about $9.75. I'll be coming back but not as frequently because of the price. I came back and got enchiladas and a taco. I was very sad because my enchilada was bland and the taco came in a hard shell-I expected a corn tortilla. The chicken inside both was really bland. I was disappointed in my second trip there. The Cadillac margarita was delicious, so it wasn't a total bust.

No new pictures but, still great authentic Mexican food with caring helpful staff. Great supporters of our community. Amazing people who create authentic Mexican family food experiences.

We always have an amazing experience here. This is my husband’s favorite place. I’m picky about beans—I’ve tried refried beans before and didn’t like them, but theirs are the best I’ve had so far. The service is excellent, and the food is always hot. Thank you!

The food’s pretty decent for Eugene—no complaints there—and everything came out in a reasonable amount of time. The downside? As soon as we were done eating, they dropped the check and basically disappeared. No offer for refills, no “want another drink?”—nothing. I only had one margarita and was hoping to hang out and have another, but no one came by. It honestly felt like they just wanted us in and out. You’d think they’d want to upsell a few more drinks and make more in tips, but apparently not.
